NAMI Denver provides several educational opportunities for people who want or need to know more about mental illness.
Education is critical for the well-being of consumers and family members alike. It provides us with a greater understanding of mental illness, and insights on how to manage it. Education also provides us with resources to make healthy decisions given the situation each of us finds ourselves in.
OUR EDUCATION PROGRAMS INCLUDE:
Monthly Education Meetings
A series of 1.5-hour presentations/discussions on a specific topic pertaining to Mental Illness. All meetings are held at the Mental Health Center of Denver, 4141 E. Dickenson Place, Denver. Meetings begin at 7 p.m.

Family to Family program
The NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program is a free, 12-week course for family caregivers of individuals with severe mental illnesses. The course is taught by trained family members All instruction and course materials are free to class participants Over 115,000 family members have graduated from this national program.
